In June 2024 NRG PALLAS hosted the 2nd Nuclear Innovation Conference and it was a resounding success! We'd like to thank all speakers and visitors for their contribution to a dynamic exchange of ideas on Long Term Operation, New Build, and Advanced Reactors. The third edition is set for June 2026, with this edition’s theme “Connecting Nuclear”! Stay tuned to this page for the latest updates on the upcoming event.

 

3rd edition of the Nuclear Innovation Conference

In 2026 we will further expand the future of the nuclear industry with the 3rd edition of the Nuclear Innovation Conference. The preparations for the NIC, once again hosted by NRG PALLAS, are in full swing! The next edition will include:

  • Connecting Nuclear to Industry: Nuclear energy can provide clean and reliable energy for a multitude of applications. Let’s discuss how we use this energy to build an innovate energy system!
  • Connecting Nuclear to Innovations: The world is changing, more and more technological advancements pop up. How will the nuclear sector incorporate innovations from other technologies?
  • Connecting Nuclear to Investors: How do we go from an idea to realization? We will enable discussions on how to finance nuclear.
  • Connecting Nuclear Generations: How can newbuild profit from Long Term Operation experience and vice versa. We will connect different generations of nuclear power to each other.
  • And last, but not least: We connect you to these diverse players in the Nuclear Industry.

The third edition of the NIC will feature, alongside a dynamic speaker program, a poster exhibition where you have the opportunity to showcase your work in nuclear energy developments.

Stronger leadership: Dynamic and collaborative leadership is crucial to overcome challenges and embrace innovation in nuclear energy.

Financial focus: Optimizing project finances is key to advancing nuclear.

Standardization with flexibility: A balanced approach that embraces standardization while allowing for flexibility is essential for ensuring the continued progress of the nuclear industry while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Global collaboration: International cooperation is essential for timely advanced reactor deployment through knowledge sharing and streamlined licensing.

Building public trust: Transparency and clear communication are vital for public support of nuclear energy.

Impactful assessments: Thorough evaluations of advanced reactors are needed to attract investment and address potential concerns.
