Appointment of Alexander Wessels as Chair of the Supervisory Board of NRG PALLAS
As of 1 April, Alexander Wessels has been appointed Chair of the Supervisory Board of NRG PALLAS, succeeding Remco van Lunteren.
Alexander Wessels has an extensive track record as CEO in international business at companies such as Unilever, DSM, Caldic and Archroma. At DSM, he served as CEO of DSM Pharmaceutical Products. He studied at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), where he obtained an MSc in Molecular Science. Alexander Wessels also holds an MSM from Purdue University (USA) and an MBA from Tilburg University.
Marijke Pubben, Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board of NRG PALLAS, said: “Alexander Wessels has proven himself to be a constructive and driven discussion partner, strong on substance and with a sharp eye for organisational development. He combines strategic vision with a clear sense of social responsibility. Drawing on his many years of experience as a CEO, he brings valuable knowledge and capabilities to further strengthen NRG PALLAS’s position as a nuclear service provider and producer of medical isotopes.”

For many years, he led first the Supervisory Council and later the Supervisory Board with dedication and vision, during a period in which fundamental choices were made for the future. Under his chairmanship, important steps were taken, including the decision-making on the PALLAS reactor, the merger of the NRG and PALLAS entities, and the establishment of a state-owned participation.”
