Sophie Dijkstra  

Sophie Dijkstra is a Group Strategy Manager at Urenco, an international company that provides uranium enrichment services to produce fuel for nuclear power plants, supporting low-carbon electricity generation worldwide.

She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Twente. Prior to joining Urenco, Sophie gained experience in various HR roles at companies including Dura Vermeer and Power-Packer.

Since joining Urenco in 2020, she initially worked within Human Resources before transitioning into Strategy three years later. In her current role, Sophie is responsible for designing and leading a range of discrete strategy projects, focusing on both existing operations and potential future business lines.

More recently, she has become increasingly involved in the emerging market for Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and Advanced Modular Reactors (AMRs). This includes her contribution to the independent public report “A New Nuclear World: How Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) Can Power Industry.”
