Frederic Blom, Ph.D. graduated at University of Twente (Netherlands) in Mechanical Engi-neering. He obtained his Ph.D. at EPF-Lausanne in Switzerland. He works at NRG PALLAS since 2002 and launched the development of TULIP LTO. Since 2006 many LTO programs have been developed using TULIP LTO, starting with the successful LTO demonstration for Borssele NPP in The Netherlands. Then contributions have been provided to the LTO programs in Sweden, Finland, Argentina, Spain, South Africa and Japan. Currently, he is managing the Nuclear Compliance and Projects cluster, which has a key role in licensing of all Dutch nuclear installations.
