Pim Reuderink 

Dr. Pim Reuderink is Technical Manager for the Nordics and the Netherlands at Bureau Veritas, specializing in nuclear engineering and the safety and quality assurance of nuclear energy infrastructure. With a strong multidisciplinary background, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. His credentials include a doctoral degree in energy, the title of Chartered Scientist (IST), and registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IGEM, IET).

Within the nuclear sector, Dr. Reuderink focuses on the technical assessment of new and existing reactor concepts, regulatory frameworks for nuclear installations, and the development of guidelines for the safe industrial application of nuclear energy. From 2015 to 2022, he was responsible for managing government approvals on behalf of Bureau Veritas within the Olkiluoto 3 project in Finland. In addition, he serves as Chairman of Stichting CBI, the scheme owner for pressure equipment in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, he is actively involved in standardization bodies and sectoral committees, where he contributes to the development of standards for nuclear safety and quality management. Dr. Reuderink’s work is characterized by a strong focus on reliability, robustness, and a future-proof energy supply.
