Mats Ekblad

Mats Ekblad, MBA, BSc, PMP. Graduated at Chalmers University of Technology and Stockholm University. He works at OKG AB since 2011 after a period in UK with Horizon Nuclear Power New Built in Wylfa Northern Wales. Since 2011 he executed positions as Plant Manager for Nuclear Reactor Unit 1 and Nuclear Reactor Unit 3 at OKG AB, a Uniper Nuclear Site in Sweden. Before 2009 he was heading the Power uprate and lifetime extension of Unit 3 to 129% of the original thermal power (one of the largest uprate in the world) and extended lifetime from 40-60 years. Since 2020 Managed for Decomissioning of Unit 1 and 2 at Oskarshamn. He has extensive experiences from Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Projects domestic and internationally. Since October 2026 he is the Strategic Manager ELTO at OKG AB.
